In 1631 Mumtaz died at the age of 39 years and wanted a tomb, as the world had never seen before. Then the Taj Mahal was built as a token of love by Shah Jagan and his Mumtaz. The building is made of marble; 28 different types of precious and semiprecious stones, such as jade, lapis lazuli, sapphires and diamonds, have been inserted in it and almost every surface has been decorated. After his death, Shah Jagan was buried alongside Mumtaz in the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal, the symbol of love, has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and is also one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
